The pacific northwest is experiencing a real estate boom that doesn't seem to be slowing down. With prices up 10.8% over this time last year, Seattle's rise is double the national average rise which is 5.2%. In March the typical single family home price in Seattle was $637,250. It is not only Seattle seeing this rapid rise in prices, the entire state is rising quickly, in March the state of Washington saw the highest price raises in the nation for the second month in a row.
